Vacation!

In a few hours we'll be leaving on our first vacation since Disney (May '07). It has been a long time coming since all that has happened since that point -- the pregnancy, having Evan, etc. We can't wait to just r-e-l-a-x. It's one of Marc's favorite places to be, so it will be a great trip for him as well.

We're hoping to time it tonight so that Evan will be fed and just about ready for a nap. We'll drive until he's hungry/fussy, have dinner, then continue on our way and hopefully just drive pretty much through the night. This depends on both kids sleeping in their car seats, so we'll see. Evan has a tendancy to not sleep long in the carseat b/c he wants to be on his belly, but hopefully tonight will be different!

So, we'll be off to Onekama (Oh-neck-amma) -- it looks like "one comma", so there are lots of things with a "1," embroidered on them up there. It's about 7.5+ hours on the west side of Michigan along Lake Michigan. I *hate* long car rides, so I don't know who will be harder to manage....the kids, Marc driving after little sleep last night and a long day at work, or me! But, it'll be worth it!!! Wish us luck!
